Green Team: Membership & Roles • Purpose • Review systems implementation and provide review supports • Review SWIS data • Examples: Discussed guest teacher packet (expectations for guest teachers and students, PRIDE tickets, etc.) PRIDE store funding (e.g., Red Robin, recycling) Check in on staff buy-in Universal screeners

  3. Membership (10-14 people). Currently we have • Administrator • Four general education teachers (6, 7, 8) • Secretary • Paraprofessional from PBI program • Counselor • Title 1 teacher • Student • School Psychologist

  4. Green Team: Roles • Roles • Team Leader: Develops agenda & distributes, solicits topics for meetings, prompts members to complete action planning steps & data summaries, facilitates meetings, communicates with school staff • Data Coordinator: Reviews ODR/Heads-Up data before meeting, brings copies for discussion and identifies areas to celebrate and problem-solve • Meeting Recorder: Takes notes during meetings and puts them on the shared drive • Tier 2 Team Liaison: Communicates activities from Orange Team • Task Master: records and reviews task lists generated during the meeting and posts on shared drive

  5. Green Team Meeting Schedule • Meet every other Friday at 7 am for 35 minutes • Review SWIS data at every other meeting • Review latest developments from Orange Team

  6. Before Green Team Meeting • Team Leader prompts data coordinator to review SWIS data before meeting & bring to meeting • Team Leader conferences with members regarding agenda and status • Team Leader develops agenda & distributes

  7. During Green Team Meeting • Review “task” list from last meeting • Review agenda • Review existing data • Fidelity of implementation (TIC update) • SWIS “Big Five” • PRIDE Ticket redemption list by teacher • Problem-solve based on data • Fund-raising for PRIDE store • Review “task” list generated during meeting • Confirm next meeting date

  9. After Green Team Meeting Minutes posted on shared drive Faculty meeting updates (five minutes or so) to keep schoolwide systems fresh and current, to continually train new staff, maintain buy-in

Keys • Basic Rules • We use the same format for each meeting – allows each person to perform their role more effectively • We generate tasks that suit the strengths of each team member • Team members follow through on their tasks independently because they are valued and important to this significant systems-change that they believe in • Primary Goals • Create, maintain and enhance system-wide interventions • Build systems foundation to support staff implementation of evidence-based Tier 2 practices
