The "Baltic Challenges and Chances for Local and Regional Development Generated by Climate Change" transnational seminar took place from June 11-12, 2009, at City Hall, Gävle, Sweden. The seminar focused on the critical processes of data collection for vulnerability assessment in target areas and the involvement of key stakeholders. It emphasized synergy between mitigation and adaptation in various sectors such as energy, transport, and agriculture. Additionally, the seminar facilitated knowledge transfer and proposed combined sectoral workshops for comprehensive strategies to address climate change impacts.
