New Federal Part C Regulations • July 1, 2012 – States must implement new federal regulations, and new state policies and procedures and monitor based on new requirements. • In California – We will not require programs to implement to the new Part C regulation until the Part C Application is approved (which is any day now).

  3. Guidance • Guidance on implementation will be coming in collaboration with DDS. • Transition Guide coming . . . • Transition training conducted in five large counties with 18 SELPAs and 7 Regional Centers . . . more to come.
