  2. TRENDS Process Orientation:Increasing emphasis on quality, costs, and time result in variations of tasks and structures within organizations. Process orientation requires a comprehensive approach to leadership. Transformation in Eastern Europe:- Germany is likely to play a major role in the development of the East-European markets.- The transformation processes in these markets are still not accomplished. The experience of East Germany in the transformation process is a valuable asset.

  3. TRENDS Ecological Environment:- Ecological problems set challenges for economies and its organizations.- Integrated approach of economical and ecologicalmanagement necessary. Service Society:- Transformation to a service society - Increasing leisure-time- new kinds of living and work New tasks for Management reflecting social dynamics
