  16. These learners want personal involvement and engagement with other participants. They want to respond to the topic through interpersonal relations. Attend to their feelings. Friends

  17. These people want mastery and competence. They want to remember the information and to perform the skills that are presented. Engage them with facts. Professors

  18. These people want to understand and comprehend. They want to reason with the information that is being presented. Involve them with formulating ideas. Scientists

  19. These people want to adapt, modify, extend, explore, and create. They want to reorganize the information into new and different arrangements. Give them opportunities to envision and create. Inventors

  24. Lesson Plan Creation Apply Encourage each class member to create something during the coming week (art, photography, music, poetry, story, sculpture, electronic media, etc.). Provide time in a future class for sharing. Motivate Invite an artist, poet, sculptor, musician, or story writer to make a short report of his or her process in creating a piece of art. Have the class compare and contrast this process with God’s way of creating the earth. Practice Have the class discuss the following question: What does our exploration of God’s creative process tell us about Him? Explore Organize the class into small groups and have each list scriptural references that describe specific facets of God’s process of the Creation of the earth. Have a volunteer from each group share their list.
