  3. Ha’azinu “Give ear” Deuteronomy/Devarim 32:1–52 “Ascribe Greatness”

  4. What Is Repentance? • Going one way and turn around and go in the opposite direction. • Has to do with our heart more than our physical direction. • Repentance comes when we understand how great God is!

  5. Deuteronomy 32:3, 4 For I proclaim the name of the LORD; Ascribe greatness to our God! The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.

  6. What is Ascribe? To assign as a quality or characteristic.

  7. Ascribe Greatness • We assign the quality or characteristic of greatness to God. • God's greatness means that he is bigger than anything or anyone. • God is bigger than the universe, bigger than the stars Sun and Moon. • Indeed, the entire universe is smaller than God.

  8. The Rock • The idea of a rock is like a mountain. • If there is a storm and the water begins to rise, you want to be on The Rock. • You are safe!

  9. He Is Perfect • God makes no mistakes! • God did not make a mistake when making you! • God does not make junk. • But God made you in a special way so that you can help people in a way that ONLY you can.

  10. His Ways Are Just • God treats everyone the same way. • God does not love you more than me or me more than you. • Yeshua died for everyone sins. • He wants all people to ask Him into their hearts and be saved just like us.

  11. A God of Faithfulness and Without Injustice • When God make a promise He keeps it. • God has given us many, many promises and he keeps every one of them. • If God keeps a promise with you He will keep a promise with me too.

  12. Righteous and Upright is He. • Remember that God is good all the time, and in all the time God is good! • This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it! • We need to think happy thoughts. • Good thoughts about the Good things of God!

  15. Points to Remember • To ascribe greatness means that we know that God is bigger than anything in the universe. • God is perfect and He makes no mistakes! • God loves everyone the same.
