What are the Conservatories? • The Arts/Humanities and STEM Conservatories are new CCA initiatives • Enrich and extend current and new CCA curriculum and educational programs • Provide alternative targeted or personalized individual and interest based learning options • Create new collaborative personal and professional experiences for our CCA community members

  3. Conservatory Vision/Mission • Expand opportunities for college and career based partnerships for secondary students • Build collaborative relationships with CCA Community; administration, teachers, counselors, learning coaches, mentors, families in order to fully design and customize student PLPs

  4. Arts & Humanities • Students will be engaged in creative opportunities that target individual student interest • Innovative hands-on activities, workshops, special events, visiting artist lectures and professional job shadowing internships • Forging new avenues of understanding while broadening horizons • Promotes interactive and collaborative exploration while forming solid partnerships within community • Visual Art, Art History, Dance, Theater, Music, Photography, Graphic Design, Cultural Studies, Languages, Fashion Design, Culinary Arts etc…

STEM Conservatory • Science, Technology, Engineering and Math • Focused on Next Generation STEM Standards • Open College/Career STEM Opportunities • Develop and deepen STEM interests through independent studies • Help students further explore the unknown through quality resources • Game and App development • Nanoscience • Entrepreneur start ups
