  3. What are the causes if this disease? (Risk factors) • Risk factors of Ischaenic heart disease • Increase in age • Smoking cigarettes • Cholesterol level • Diabetes • High blood pressure • It is more common in men

  4. How is this disease preventable? • The best way to prevent Ischaemic heart disease is to maintain a healthy diet to lower blood pressure level and cholesterol level. Smokers are also encouraged to stop smoking has it also is a risk factor to this disease.

  7. Population groups higher at risk • Older people age groups have the higher risk to having this disease than younger people due to their weakness of the heart and complications of maintaining there cholesterols level and blood pressure level.
