This guide provides essential information on the certification process for Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) instructors and students. After becoming certified trainers, instructors should contact the Mississippi Department of Homeland Security to obtain training materials. The CERT certification exam will align with MS-CPAS2 standards, with students needing to score 60% or higher to receive completion certificates. Additionally, it covers the requirements for FEMA National Incident Management System (NIMS) training, including course links and testing procedures for student certifications.
