Plan Outline • The Business Working Group is responsible for privacy, security, consent, sustainability, data use arrangements and Query Health best practices. • The Business Working Group tasks will parallel S&I work flow: • Coordinate with the Clinical and Technical WG activities allowing parallel efforts • Business requirements will be documented in the Use Case and Requirements document • Collectively the WG will provide a business perspective to the Query Health Initiative end to end.
Task 1. Define Business Requirements • While this initiative as well as all S&I Framework initiatives is focused on interoperability between systems, to succeed Query Health will also have to address requirements from a business perspective. • These include the organization, management and coordination of Query Health Networks, their scalability and extensions, financial sustainability and needs for policy alignment.
Initial Draft Business Requirements • Based on preliminary research and the Summer Concert series, six types of business requirements have been identified: • Best Practices Considerations • Principles of Organization, Management and Coordination • Trust and Data Use Agreements • Regulatory Issues including Security and Privacy • Sustainability • Business Scalability • Our initial work items will be a detailed analysis to validate, edit or otherwise change for inclusion in the Consensus Use Case and Requirements document.
Task 2. Identify Potential Solutions • Plan TBD at F2F • Begin identifying potential candidate from Summer Concert Series learning and requirements validation
Task 3. Propose Business Solutions/ Best Practices for Pilot • TBD
Task 4. Evaluate, Validate and Refine Business Solutions • TBD
Next Steps • Provide comments on the charter • Volunteer to work on one (or more) of three requirements’ work streams • Best Practices, Organization, Management and Coordination • Trust and Regulatory • Business Sustainability and Scalability • Task for next week • Develop preliminary requirements and prepare to discuss on next week’s call • Work as self-organizing team using wiki and calls as needed • Who is ready to sign on?
