When CIM = CEDD • This work is focused on the idea of a “Query Health CEDD” • An abstract model that can be transformed into a platform-independent model as part of a reference implementation. • What is core to every distributed query and what is needed for specific types of queries? • In terms of how this fits into the bigger picture, the S&I Framework CEDD is putting together a single jumping off point to go from the multiple models in the underlying standards across the S&I to something larger like CIMI. It’s serving as a bridge between the current and the future.
Recap of Next Steps on the CEDD • Query Health CEDD Crosswalk available at: http://wiki.siframework.org/Clinical+Information+Model+Activity • Volunteers outlined for key sections of the crosswalk: • Crosswalk available at the following URL: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApW4Ox66ml2IdEtYR0lwenlJVWl6RC1vVnZuaEppeWc • Review hQuery & SHRINE data models on wiki to prep for next week’s meeting (plan is to walk through those two columns on the crosswalk) • Our approach for this week: • Define the data element • Provide examples of the data element (e.g. what we are talking about) • Notes/other descriptive information to make the element clear
