Ibn Battuta . Years Of Life. . Battuta was born in Tangier, Morocco, on February 24 th of 1304 In June of 1325, he left his home set for the journey to Mecca. In 1330, he left of again, down the Red Sea to Aden and then to Tanzania. He later died in 1369. Location.

  2. Years Of Life. • Battuta was born in Tangier, Morocco, on February 24th of 1304 • In June of 1325, he left his home set for the journey to Mecca. • In 1330, he left of again, down the Red Sea to Aden and then to Tanzania. • He later died in 1369.

  3. Location. • IbnBattuta was born in Tangier, Morocco. • He visited Mecca, Arabian Desert, Red Sea, Iraq, Iran, Aden, Tazanian, China, Saharah Desert and the African Kingdom of Mali. • He died in Tangier, Morroco, his home place.

  4. What Is His Famous For? • IbnBattuta was known for being an Explorer and Scholar. • He visited many places (named in slide 3).

  5. Mecca. • It was every Muslim’s Desire to go to Mecca to understand all there is to the religion.

  6. Sultan of Delhi • He became a judge there in 1330.

  7. Tazanian. • One of the many places he explored.
