NAAE Awards NAAE Upper Division Scholarship Eligible applicants: Students majoring in ag ed Awarded only during student teaching semester *Previous recipients are not eligible Award: 15 scholarships of $750.00 each Sponsor: Delmar Cengage Learning & proceeds from the ticket raffle at the NAAE convention

NAAE Awards NAAE "Teachers Turn the Key" Scholarship Eligible Applicants: NAAE members in their second, third, or fourth year of teaching who have not previously attended NAAE Convention Award: Scholarship for registration to NAAE Convention Four (4) nights hotel Airfare or mileage to attend the NAAE annual Convention Special programming during convention geared toward early career teachers Sponsor: Dodge Ram (pending for 2010) As a special project of the National FFA Foundation

NAAE Awards NAAE "Teachers Turn the Key" Scholarship Changes in TTTK Program for 2010 2010 Program Pending Dodge Ram Sponsorship We anticipate the NAAE Teachers Turn the Key Scholarship Program Award will be sponsored by Dodge Ram as a Special Project of the National FFA Foundation for 2010. However, if Dodge Ram does not sponsor this award program for 2010, there will be no program for 2010. Also: All of the state winning applicants will be selected for this award. Only ONE participant per state will be selected.

NAAE Awards NAAE Outstanding Young Member Eligible applicants: NAAE members who have completed at least 3 but not more than 5 years of teaching Award: Lodging and travel costs to NAAE convention for winner Registration to NAAE Convention Engraved plaque Invitation to a special dinner held in winners’ honor **Previous regional winners not eligible to apply Sponsor: John Deere As a special project of the National FFA Foundation

NAAE Awards Outstanding Middle/Secondary School Ag Ed Program Awards Eligible applicants: Ag ed programs in middle & secondary schools Award: Lodging and travel costs to NAAE convention for winner Registration for NAAE Convention Engraved plaque Invitation to a special dinner held in winners’ honor *Previous winners may reapply for this award every 5 years Sponsor: National FFA Alumni Association

NAAE Awards NAAE Outstanding Postsecondary/Adult Ag Ed Program Eligible Applicants: 2-year postsecondary institutions or full time young farmer and adult ag ed programs. *Previous regional winners may reapply for this award every 5 years Award package: 2 year lease on a Toyota Tundra Lodging and travel costs to attend NAAE Convention Registration for convention Engraved plaque Invitation to a special dinner held in winner’s honor Sponsor: Toyota (as a special project of the National FFA Foundation)

NAAE Awards NAAE Outstanding Postsecondary/Adult Ag Ed Program Changes in OPAP Award Program for 2010: Change in award eligibility The Outstanding Postsecondary/Adult Ag Ed Program award recognizes exemplary 2-year postsecondary institutions and full time young farmer and adult ag ed programs. Qualifying young farmer and/or adult ag ed program staff must devote at least 50 percent of their teaching time to this level of instruction.

NAAE Awards NAAE Ideas Unlimited Award Eligible Applicants: Any current NAAE member with an original or outstanding teaching idea *Must have been a member for 3 years previous to application or since he/she began teaching Award: Engraved plaque $400 travel stipend to attend NAAE convention Sponsor: Delmar Cengage Learning As a special project of the National FFA Foundation

NAAE Awards NAAE Teacher Mentor Award Eligible Applicants: Experienced agriculture teachers who have became mentors for beginning agriculture teachers The six national winners will receive: Engraved plaque $400 travel stipend Registration for NAAE annual Convention Sponsor: CEV Multimedia As a special project of the National FFA Foundation

  12. NAAE Awards NAAE Outstanding Service Citation Eligible applicants: Current and retired NAAE members who havemade significant contributions to agriculturaleducation at the state, regional, and national levels. Award: Engraved plaque presented at NAAE annual Convention

  13. 2009-10 Member Update NAAE Lifetime Achievement Award Eligible applicants: Retired NAAE members who have made significant contributions to agricultural education at the state, regional, and national levels. Award: Engraved plaque presented at the NAAE annual Convention

  14. 2009-10 Member Update Professional State Association Award Eligible Applicants: State associations who have engaged in certain well-planned activities designed to serve the best interest of the members and the profession. Award: Recognition at the NAAE annual Convention
