  1. New Features in Student Management Presented by Beth Gardner

General • The student indicator area has been expanded to 12 slots • An unlimited number of staff can be added to an activity • Custom forms can now have calculated custom fields • Option to limit access to student social security number • On the Family Tab, siblings can be sorted by last name • Defaults are available for the pickup & custodial fields • Attendance tab has totals by period and graphs • User Defined fields are available on the E/W report

General- cont’d • Parent’s email has been added to: • Student Demographics Report • Student Registration/Emergency Information • Student Medical Information • Student Emergency Information • Option to scan uploaded files for viruses and an option to block the loading of specified file types • Option to compress attachments. • Option to “clean-up” data mining reports (inactive employees)

  4. General- cont’d • Log button for security changes • The “critical” service call flag is available in the customer access internal queue

  5. Family Access • Skylert has been added an option for online registration • BETA – Online form/surveys • Calendar printing options • Option to suppress community service hours • Option for community service hours to be a decimal value • Registration Verification report has additional sort/field options

  6. Food Service • Dual Keypad functionality is now available

  7. Gradebook • Option to disable spell check for online assignments • The Grade Posting administration area will now display who approved a grade change • Teacher conferences can be mass deleted • When a conference is modified, an email notification is triggered • Discipline Usage graphs in the Teacher Tracking area are now available monthly

  8. Discipline • Options added to identify access to prior year discipline

  9. Attendance • The Suspect/Questionable attendance report now has the “today” feature • Individual student options added to By Class/By Activity • Separate Attendance letter for Spanish speakers

  10. Scheduling • The COBOL and Progress schedulers have been removed and replaced with a .NET scheduler. • Academic hours can be used in lieu of earned credits for entities that do not have earned credits • Multiple courses can be added as a co-requisite • The AMB now supports both a number or percentage for the control set distribution • CECE counts Course Report by Course
