Margaret Sanger • Margaret was one of eleven children. She grew up in the town of Corning, New York.(Sanger, Margaret. 1944.) Margaret had three children named Stuart, Grant, and Peggy. Margaret would go to the Claverak college in New York. She would write many articles including Family Limitation. With the writing of Family Limitation she would get a jail sentance for thirty days. (Sanger, Margaret. 1985.) Margaret would help find the National Committee on Federal Legislation for Birth Control. Then in 1923 the research in birth control was opened in New York. (Sanger, Margaret. 1944.) Margaret would earn the American Women’s Association award and the Town Hall of honor. (Sanger, Margaret. 1985.)
