  8. How does God express His love for us? THROUGHGRACE! Do we have to work for blessings? NO. WHY? Because our blessings depend on who He is, not who we are.

  9. Personal love for God motivates impersonal / unconditional love for man. 1 John 5:2 . . . By this [our love for God]we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments.

  10. 1 John 2:5 . . . Whoever guards the Word, truly in him, the love for God has been perfected.
