  4. BLOCK SCHEDULING • OUR STUDENTS TAKE 8 CLASSES TOTAL • OUR STUDENTS HAVE 4 CLASSES A DAY • ON ODD CALENDAR DAYS, BLOCKS 1, 3, 5, 7 MEET (90 MINUTES EACH) • ON EVEN CALENDAR DAYS, BLOCKS 2, 4, 6, 8 MEET (90 MINUTES EACH) • 4 LUNCH PERIODS (11:30-1:30 APPX.)

STANDARD DIPLOMA22 CREDITS • ENGLISH 4 • MATH (AT/ABOVE ALGEBRA 1) 3 • SCIENCE 3 • SOCIAL STUDIES 3 • HEALTH & PE 2 • WORLD LANGUAGE/FINE ART/CTE 2 • ECONOMICS/PERSONAL FINANCE1 • ELECTIVES (2 SEQUENTIAL) 4 • Beginning with students entering ninth grade for the first time in 2013-2014, a student must also earn a board-approved career and technical education credential to graduate with a Standard Diploma; and successfully complete one virtual course, which may be non-credit bearing.

Students who entered ninth grade for the first time during and after 2011-2012 must earn at least 26 standard units of credit.
