  2. CATEGORÍA 1: EL APRENDIZ AUTÓNOMO DEBE TENER AUTOCONTROL El estudiante autónomo debe ser capaz de reconocer y controlar las variables que determinan la calidad del proceso de aprendizaje.

  3. CATEGORÍA 2: EL APRENDIZ AUTÓNOMO DEBE TENER AUTODIRECCIÓN El estudiante autónomo debe autodirigir su proceso de aprendizaje, lo que implica hacerse responsable del mismo.

  4. CATEGORÍA 3: EL APRENDIZ AUTÓNOMO DEBE SER CRÍTICO Y REFLEXIVO El estudiante autónomo debe valorar la información que se le presente de una manera crítica y reflexiva, la heteronomía no tiene cabida en él.

  5. CATEGORÍA 4: EL APRENDIZ AUTÓNOMO DEBE DESARROLLAR METACOGNICIÓN El estudiante autónomo debe reflexionar sobre la manera como aprende, percibe, recuerda, piensa o actúa, es decir genera conocimientos, a partir de reflexiones sobre ellos mismos.

CATEGORÍA 5: EL APRENDIZ AUTÓNOMO DEBE SER AUTORREGULADO El estudiante autónomo debe ejercer control sobre sus propias capacidades, normas y toma de decisiones, sobre las propias orientaciones de la personalidad, sobre sus tendencias orientadoras, sobre sus inclinaciones y características, sobre sus rasgos y perfil.

CATEGORÍA 6: EL APRENDIZ AUTÓNOMO DEBE DESARROLLAR AUTONOMÍA MORAL E INTELECTUAL El estudiante autónomo es capaz de gobernarse a sí mismo y tomar sus propias decisiones. trata a los demás como quiere ser tratado y no sólo toma en cuenta el punto de vista suyo, sino el de las otras personas afectadas por su conducta, para tomar las propias decisiones sin la ayuda de otros.

  8. CATEGORÍA 7: EL APRENDIZ AUTÓNOMO DEBE PLANEAR SU PROCESO DE APRENDIZAJE El estudiante autónomo debe poder planificar su proceso de aprendizaje planteándose una serie de cuestionamientos, encaminados a organizar la forma como se va a desarrollar este proceso.

  9. CATEGORÍA 8: EL APRENDIZ AUTÓNOMO DEBE UTILIZAR ESTRATEGIAS DE APRENDIZAJE METACOGNITIVAS El estudiante autónomo debe saber seleccionar las estrategias de acuerdo con el tipo de competencia o habilidad que quiera desarrollar.

  10. CATEGORÍA 9: EL APRENDIZ AUTÓNOMO DEBE ESTAR MOTIVADO POSITIVAMENTE El estudiante autónomo debe sentir desde su interior esa necesidad de aprender, de superarse, que no vea el proceso de aprendizaje como una obligación, sino como una oportunidad para convertirse en un mejor ser humano.

  11. CATEGORÍA 10: EL APRENDIZ AUTÓNOMO DEBE CIMENTAR SU ESTUDIO EN PRINCIPIOS MORALES Y ÉTICOS. El estudiante autónomo se auto impone principios éticos y morales sustentados en la verdad, la responsabilidad, la libertad, la ética y la justica.
