  3. Location • Occidental s located in Eagle Rock Los Angeles • It is roughly 130 miles from my home in San Diego • It is located n a rural part of L.A. but is still a 20 minute drive away from downtown L.A.

You may request a Tax Return Transcript from the IRS and have it mailed to the school. • Need-based scholarships are awarded each year on an individual basis in proportion to the degree of financial need and the student’s academic and co-curricular record.

Campus Visits • Campus visits are available every weekday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. • Tours are all year long except holidays • Saturday tours are offered from labor day to December 3rd starting at 10 a.m. • Information sessions are also offered in the Office of Admission each weekday at 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

  9. Enviroment • Occidental is a co-ed college with 60% beng female and 40% being male • Even though it is a private university it has no religious affiliation • The nearest city is Los Angeles and it is approximately 1291 square kilometers

  13. Actvities • There are over 80 different clubs and activities at occidental including biology club, dance production, rugby, tennis, ultimate frisbee, vagina monologue and many other ones

  14. Academics • The Major that we are interested in is International Relations as well as International Business which are both offered there. • The Student Faculty Ratio at Occidental is 10 to 1 • The average class size varies from 10-19 kids

  15. Housing • Residential halls in Occidental come with a variety of options, they are single gendered as well as co-ed. It’s a multi-use facility for students. • The residence halls are smoke-free, have a computer lab, provides DirecTV in the lounge and come with a laundry facility.
