Integrating Technology-Enhanced Assessment Methods into Student Progress Dashboard

This project aims to integrate student engagement and performance data into a Student Progress Dashboard. The dashboard will deliver timely, holistic reports for each student and their personal tutor regarding engagement and performance across all modules of study. Key features include feedback opportunities for students and staff, exception reporting, and integration with existing information systems for a comprehensive view of student engagement. The project seeks to motivate learning and enhance academic performance through data-driven insights, with staff training and pilot evaluations planned for the 2013/14 academic year.

The Dashboard will provide timely, holistic reports for each student and their personal tutor (or equivalent) about the student’s engagement/performance on all the modules he/she is studying Student focus feedback • Staff pilot feedback • Welcomed the potential to view student overall progress to provide opportunities for student support • Importance of currency of data and ease of access - ?
