The main areas focused on were the 4 areas highlighted on day 3 – Phonics and phonological awareness Sentence structures – Colorful Semantics Story grammar – (retell) Vocabulary – Synonyms test Pre and post test data Video recordings used as a teaching tool e.g. working on volume and expression, reducing teacher talk, assessment and feedback Investigations program Transition project – focus on Speaking and Listening Teaching practice continued…
