ASMIT AT A GLANCE The Arya School Of Management & Information Technology (ASMIT) is a well-established institution. It is a unit of “Odisha Research and Advanced Studies (ORAS) registered under SR, ACT - 1860. This is managed by a council of management consisting of eminent and qualified persons from leaders of industry, academicians, management professionals, I.T. Professionals, administrative and leading public personalities. The administrator and academic head of the institute is the Director who is assisted by the different faculties and other professionals.
The consolidated final placement performance of ASMIT, Bhubaneswar for the last two years i.e. 2011 & 2012 has been presented below for reference. The Institute has attracted 93 companies from different sectors during the period. The companies are grouped into sectors depending upon the similarity in industry category. The offers by companies were in the functional areas such as; Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR and System etc. The positions of the selected talents are indicated to facilitate the decision making. Banking & Micro-finance ASMIT, Bhubaneswar has been the preferred destination for the talent search by the Bank and Microfinance Companies. The major chunk of Bank placements come from PSU Banks. Financial Services, Mutual Fund & BrokingThe curriculum of the program in Finance Area has been specifically designed to incorporate the requirements financial services, mutual fund and broking sector. The sector offers maximum opportunity for the students and has picked up the largest numbers of talents from the institute.
