  6. Inclusion • Our own inclusion philosophy covers the participation of athletes with and without a physical disability in our National League

Purpose of presentation with regard to Wheelchair Basketball • Creates a clear pathway for the development of Wheelchair Basketball • Encourage new Referees thus enabling Nationwide League Participation • Create a stronger link between IWA-Sport and Basketball Ireland and its’ Referees • This leads to the development of further participation and the possibility of regional, national and elite athletes for the future. • Domino Effect – wider exposure leads to wider participation which in turn leads to more athletes being involved in the sport of Basketball • N.B.
