  1. Does God Exist? “Evolution Is a Fact” (…or so they would have you believe!)

  2. Evolution & Christianity: Both are Religions Each Use Their Belief System to Answer the Questions We Do Not Know the Answer to. Creationist Evolutionist God is Infinite and the Source Infinite Amounts of Time/Chance

  3. (Romans 1:20) For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, (NKJV)

  4. (1 Peter 3:15) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; (NKJV)

  5. J.W.N. Sullivan, The Limitations of Science, p. 94) “The beginning of the evolutionary process raises a question which is as yet unanswerable. What was the origin of life on this planet? Until fairly recent times there was a pretty general belief in the occurrence of “spontaneous generation.” It was supposed that lowly forms of life developed spontaneously from, for example, putrefying meat. But careful experiments, notably those of Pasteur, showed that this conclusion was due to improper observation, and it became an accepted doctrine that life never arises except from life. So far as actual evidence goes, this is still the…

  6. J.W.N. Sullivan, The Limitations of Science, p. 94) …only possible conclusion. But since it is a conclusion that seems to lead back to some supernatural creative act, it is a conclusion that scientific men find very difficult to accept. It carries with it what are felt to be, in the present mental climate, undesirable philosophic implications, and it is opposed to the scientific desire for continuity. It introduces an unaccountable break in the chain of causation, and therefore cannot be admitted as part of science unless it is quite impossible to reject it. For that reason most scientific men prefer to believe that life arose, in some way not yet understood, from inorganic matter in accordance with the laws of physics and chemistry.”

  7. Richard Lewontin: “Our willingness to accept scientific claims that are against common sense is the key to an understanding of the real struggle between science and the supernatural. We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs, in spite of its failure to fulfill many of its extravagant promises of health and life, in spite of the tolerance of the scientific community for unsubstantiated just-so stories, because we have a prior commitment, a commitment to materialism. It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but, on the contrary, that we are forced by our priori adheranceto material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations', no matter how mystifying the uninitiated. Moreover, that materialism is absolute, for we cannot allow a divine foot in the door.” - Richard Lewontin, Harvard Geneticist

  8. "[Man] stands alone in the universe, a unique product of a long, unconscious, impersonal, material process with unique understanding and potentialities. These he owes to no one but himself and it is to himself that he is responsible. He is not the creature of uncontrollable and undeterminable forces, but he is his own master. He can, and must, decide and manage his own destiny."—*George G. Simpson, "The World into Which Darwin Led Us," in Science, 131 (1960), p. 966.

  9. Erosion or Intelligent Design?

  10. Richard Dawkins (athiest) “We have seen that living things are too improbable and too beautifully ‘designed’ to have come into existence by chance.” – Richard Dawkins, The Blind Watchmaker, 1987, W.W. Norton & Co., New York pg. 43

  11. Stein: Then who did create the heavens and the earth? • Dawkins: Why do you use the word “who”? You see, you immediately bait the question by using the word “who”. • Stein: Well then how did it get created? • Dawkins: Well, um, by a very slow process.

  12. Stein: Well how did it start? • Dawkins: Nobody knows how it got started. We know the kind of event it must have been. We know the sort of event that must have happened for the origin of life. • Stein: And what was that? • Dawkins: It was the origin of the first self-replicating molecule.

  13. Stein: Right, and how did that happen? • Dawkins: I told you we don’t know. • Stein: So you have no idea how it started. • Dawkins: No, no. Nor has anybody else.

  14. Stein: What do you think is the possibility that intelligent design might turn out to be the answer to some issues in genetics or in Darwinian evolution? • Dawkins: It could come about in the following way: It could be that at some earlier time, somewhere in the universe, a civilization evolved by probably some kind of Darwinian means to a very, very high level of technology and designed a form of life that they seeded onto perhaps this planet. Now that is a possibility…an intriguing possibility…

  18. Via Chance or Design?

  19. David Berlinski • “Nothing in the theory is precicely, clearly, carefully defined or delineated. It lacks all the rigor one expects from mathematical physics and mathematical physics lacks all the rigor one expects from mathematics. So we are talking about a gradual descent down the level of intelligibility until we reach evolutionary biology. We don’t even know what a species is for heaven’s sakes”!

  20. Werner Gitt • “…there is no known law of nature, no known process and no known sequence of events which can cause information to originate by itself in matter.” • He further states: “There is no known natural law through which matter can give rise to information, neither is any physical process or material phenomenon known that can do this.” – Gitt, Werner. 1997. In the Beginning Was Information. CLV. Bielfeld, Germany. Pg. 64-67, 79, 107.

  21. Which is Supported By the Evidence We Observe? vs.

  22. David Berlinski “Let’s be reasonable. We’re all sophistocated men and women here. The popular myth of science as a uniquely self-critical institution and scientists as men who would rather be consumed at the stake rather than fudge their data, I mean, that’s o.k. for a PBS special, but that’s not the real world. That’s not what’s taking place. People fudge the data whenever they can get away with it and they will commit themselves to fraudulent drawing just so long as they’re convinced that no one’s looking over their shoulder.”

  23. Evolutionary Agenda: Danger! • “A man who has no assured and ever-present belief in the existence of God, or of a future existence with retribution and reward, can have for his rule of life, as far as I can see, only to follow these impulses and instincts which are the strongest or which seem to him the best ones.” – The Morality of Evolution, Charles Darwin, Autobiography, Norton, 1958, pg. 94

  24. If man evolved, whose atop the ladder?
