  3. The Big Question How can I truly incorporate technology into a classroom where I have numerous students but limited access to technological devices?

  4. Make use of all of your resources! ipad SMART board e-reader smartphone • laptop tablet Ipod touch document camera digital camera

  5. Create experiences/situations in which you can use technology in the lesson.

  6. Studying Weather? Go to a site such as www.weather.com to see the forecast for the month. Find a weather forecast clip online. Find video clips of different types of weather. Have students predict the weather and draw a picture of their prediction. Next, let students take a picture of the weather on that day. Have students print and place both pictures side by side. Have students determine if their prediction was correct or not by comparing the two pictures. Have students create a news weather segment and videotape them.

  7. Studying Shapes? Have students take pictures of different places inside or outside of the school. Print or display the pictures and have students identify the shapes they see in the pictures. Record videos of students creating shapes with their bodies. Play the videos and have students guess the shapes. Have students use the Paint program on the computer to create a picture using shapes. Have students list the shapes they used.

  8. Have a BYOD (bring your own device) day.

  9. Substitute! Substitute any lesson with a technology lesson in which you are teaching students how to use technology while incorporating a subject.

  10. CENTER TIME! Use technology as a center for all subject areas. This can allow for all students to access a technological device at some point throughout the week.

  46. A website for making videos. Develop both narrative videos and video presentations. Users can choose all the characteristics of the video from backgrounds to avatar dialogue and movements.

  47. A website that allows students to combine text, pictures, graphics, video, and audio to create an interactive online poster. A great way for students to display knowledge.

  48. A free online creativity center where students can create their own pictures, drawings, storybooks, and movies. Very user friendly Students can practice writing fairy tales, poetry, collaborative stories, fables, math based stories, illustrated science journals and nonfiction books.
