Dimmer Compatibility – LED A19 97308S & 97309S Dimmable down to 5% of light output Recommended Number of Lamps per 600W Dimmer* While an LED lamp may draws as few as 9 watts continuously, it could have an in-rush current spike and should therefore be treated as a 80W load when sizing dimmers. The recommended number of 97308S that should be used on a typical approved dimmers is as follows. * Note – Dimmer listing is subject to change. Dimmer compatibility list indicates those dimmers that have been tested and operate properly under normal conditions. In certain cases, approved dimmers are offered in higher wattage varieties that are also compliant and allow for further installation of additional lamps if kept within the maximum in-rush current equivalent noted in the table above. Each application is unique and various factors such as load, common neutrals and other electrical products on the circuit may cause variance in performance. Consult dimming system manufacturer for additional support in operation. 1
