  2. Introduction • We compared the top 6 phones of each manufacturer available at Verizon Wireless®: • Apple® - Iphone® 5s 16GB • Motorola - Droid MAXX • HTC - One® • LG - G2 • Samsung - Galaxy Note® 3

  3. Introduction Continued • We evaluated these phones based on the specifications of the following criteria: • Price • Camera • Memory • Battery • Processing Speed • RAM

Introduction Continued • Price – The phones with the lowest price gets the higher scores • Camera- The phones with the larger megapixels get the higher score • Memory- The phones with more memory get the higher score • Battery- The phone with the most usage time get the higher score • Processing Speed- The phone with the most processing speed get the higher score • RAM- The phones with the most RAM get the higher score

Introduction Continued • Through all of the criteria we can recommend two different phones. • If price is not much of a factor to the consumer we recommend the Samsung Galaxy Note® 3: • All around the Galaxy Note 3® was the best in all factors with the best processor, RAM, camera and a close second to battery life. Its only downside was the large price tag. • If price is a factor to the consumer we recommend the LG G2: • The LG G2 was close to having the specifications the Galaxy Note 3 had and even had the same processor power inside of it. One of its biggest downsides was the lack of expandable storage. Overall the LG G2 is the best phone for the price.

  7. Methods Continued • The phones are ranked in each of the categories by points from 1 to 5 • The scale goes: • 5- Best • 4 • 3- Average • 2 • 1- Worst

  8. Methods Continued • The phone with the most points is the best out of the group • If there is a tie between two recommendations the phone ranking will be made based on the price.

Results • Price: • The best prices of the phones are the HTC One and LG G2 at $149.99 and both of them get 5 points • The Droid MAXX and the Iphone 5s are $199.99 and both of them get 3 points • The worst price of the phones is the Galaxy Note 3 is $299.99 and gets 1 point • Camera: • The best cameras are on the Galaxy Note 3 and LG G2 with a 13 megapixel camera and both get 5 points • The Droid MAXX is second best with a 10 megapixel camera and gets 4 points • The Iphone 5s has a 8 megapixel camera and gets 2 points • The worst camera is on the HTC One with a 4 megapixel camera and gets 1 point

Results Continued • Storage Space: • The phones with the most storage space are the Droid MAXX and the Galaxy Note 3 with 32 gigabytes and has expandable memory and both get 5 points • The HTC One and LG G2 with 32 gigabytes but no expandable memory, they both get 3 points • The phone with the least storage space is the Iphone with 16 gigabytes and no expandable memory and gets 1 point

Results Continued • Battery: • The best battery is in the Droid MAXX with 2880 minutes of battery life and gets 5 points • The Galaxy Note 3 has the next best with 1440 minutes of battery life and gets 4 points • The LG G2 has the next best with 1092 minutes of battery life and gets 3 points • The HTC One has 684 minutes of battery life and gets 2 points • The Iphone 5s gets 600 minutes of battery life and gets 1 point

Results Continued • Processing Speed: • The phones with the best processing speed is the Galaxy Note 3 and the LG G2 with 2.3 gigahertz processor and they both get 5 points • The HTC One has a 1.7 gigahertz processor and gets 3 points • The phones with the worst processing speed is the Iphone 5s and Droid MAXX and both get 1 point • RAM: • The phone with the most RAM is the Galaxy Note 3 with 3 gigabytes of RAM and gets 5 points • The HTC One and LG G2 have 2 gigabytes of RAM and gets 3 points • The Iphone 5s and Droid MAXX have 1 gigabyte of RAM and both get 1 point

  14. Results Continued • Final Results • In the end the LG G2 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 both scored 25 points. • Based on price the LG G2 is the best phone for you to buy • Based on specifications alone the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the far superior phone
