Spain 2) Darwinism Idea that one race is superior to another Allows whites to believe it’s ok to take land from black and brown people 3) Alfred Mahan -Stated that the richest countries in world had largest navies (Spain, Eng.) -US builds a new modern navy of steel warships to go around the world Coaling Stations-US will need colonies abroad to serve a fueling

Give it back (Pres. Realized these planters stole a country) ?What can the planter do next? Republic of Hawaii- planters start their own country, wait for a new President who will annex Hawaii
