  1. Now I'm in the WPA And I was in the CCC The New Deal And it's good to know that Mr. Roosevelt is looking out for me

  2. I got a good meal today From the FERA And the grass is green And the streets are cleaned by the CWA

  3. I could get a house on the FHA I don't care what the Republicans say This New Deal's O.K.

  4. From Muscle Shoals We got electricity From the dams built By the Tennessee Valley Authority

  5. And the farmers say Under the AAA That you don't have to grow no crops To get good pay

  6. And the banks are opening again I'm gonna put my money back in Mr. Roosevelt says it's O.K.

  7. The left says he's not doing enough The right says he's doing way too much That he's a socialist, giving our country away But when you hear his voice on the radio You know he knows the way to go Roosevelt's the way

  8. And the Wagner Act Is bringing unions back And the NLRB Is watchin' over that

  9. And Mr. Roosevelt said We could drink again He ended Prohibition What more can I say, Mr. Roosevelt's O.K.

  10. When I'm sixty-five If I'm still alive I can get a check every month until I die

  11. Mr. Roosevelt says All fear comes from within And I'm with him
