  3. Step 1: Setting Up Your Notebook Paper • The first step in taking Cornell Notes is to set up your notebook paper. • Use a pen to divide your notebook paper as follows: 0.5” 2.5” 6” 2”

  4. Explanation of Sections The essential question should address the main concept(s) of the notes. Name Date Title Essential Question Take concise notes, putting emphasis on main concepts. Questions Note-Taking Area Write a corresponding question for each main concept. Try to anticipate test questions. Your summary should include the answers to the essential question as well as the questions you wrote. Summary
