  7. In 2011/12 MMH provided care for: 41,344 outpatients 3,163 antenatal patients 32,031 under 5s 7,241admissions 2,412 deliveries 380 caesarian sections Mulanje Mission Hospital

Our main challenges • Financial management in a difficult climate, govt funding decreasing, inflation ++ • Maintaining drug supplies • Scaling up disease control programmes • HIV/AIDS - counselling and testing, treatment, orphan care, school and youth programmes, nutrition • Malaria, TB, water and sanitation • Reproductive health – esp ANC and FP, reducing teenage pregnancy • Reliable power and water supplies – solar • Providing staff training opportunities • Maintenance of infrastructure and urgent renovation of operating theatre Mulanje Mission Hospital
