  2. Notes Migrator for SharePoint 6.2 • RTM: 06-Mar-2013 • GA: 26-Mar-2013 • Download now: http://questsoftware-web.sharepoint.com/Documents/NMSP-6-2-0-1057.ZIP • Release focus • SharePoint 2013 support • Feature request / hotfix rollup • New requirement • .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.0 must both be installed on the client

  3. SharePoint 2013 support • Everything works as before! • Migrate via SharePoint web services • Migrate via Import Service (except claims-based sites!) • Migrate to Office 365 • New SharePoint Solutions • Server config pages • Link tracking redirector page

  4. Extremely Important Limitation • Import Service does not support SharePoint sites that use Claims Based Authentication • Not a new limitation • But suddenly very important in SharePoint 2013! • Now all sites use claims by default • Creating a web app that uses “classic” authentication requires PowerShellhttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg276326.aspx • Today, this means that most will migrate to SharePoint 2013 sites via SharePoint web services, not the Import Service • The only limitation here is performance • Server side Link tracking may still be used • Hotfix should be available 1-2 months

  5. ZIP attachments while migrating • For Notes and Domino.Doc only • Works for any migration target

  6. Filtering records by Rich Text Content • Allows for creation of different migration jobs for documents containing just one attachment • Avoid document generation when you can just migrate the attachment directly

  7. Full folder/binder migration • Migrate directly to SharePoint folders/document sets • Each input record creates a folder or document set • Includes metadata, permissions, and empty folders

  8. Extracting Domino.Doc Binder information • Option for reading all information about Binders from a DomDoc Cabinet • Result is one record per binder (even if Binder is empty)

  9. Enhanced support for Lookup Fields • Populate lookup list records as you migrate • Similar to Add Missing Choices in Choice fields • Override Lookup Column • Provides alternate way to find the correct record in the Lookup list

  10. Override Lookup Column (alternate example) • Use NotesID to correlate records

  11. Additional enhancements • Support for Pass-through HTML (Use at your own risk!) • Edit UserOptions.config file:<NotesQueryOptions> <IncludePassthroughHtml>true</IncludePassthroughHtml> • Support for multiple Notes passwords • Format: |password1|password2|password3| • Discovery more robust • Also more verbose logging • Improved support for migrating to Claims-based environments • Still via SharePoint Web Services only  • Render with form improvements • Better support for computed subforms • Still some limitations
