  2. What are verbs? • Verbs are action words e.g. walk, run, jump

  3. Verbs in the past tense… • Such verbs tell us about actions that has happened in the past. e.g. walked, ran, jumped

  4. Regular VS Irregular verbs • For regular verbs (past tense), we usually add ed to the verb. • For irregular verbs (past tense), we do not add ed. We usually change some parts of the word.
