Know About KISD Killeen Independent School  District (KISD) serves the City of Killeen, Fort Hood, Harker Heights, and Nolanville in Central Texas. 01 As of 2021, KISD is comprised of 6 high schools, 12 middle schools, 32 elementary schools, and 4 specialty campuses, including the Career Center. 02 The school district aims to give students a wide variety of opportunities for academic and career growth. 03 Students can join clubs for activities such as art, music, athletics, and countless more.
