  1. Tips For Helping Your Child With Homework Parents play an integral part in a child's education by helping them organize their daily routine. A child’s academic performance improves manifolds when his /her parents give proper attention and take active part in their education. Here we have listed ways in which parents can help their children with homework. Encourage Your  Kids Plan A Regular Study Time The ideal time for studying varies for every child. So, schedule a proper study time for your child after considering what time they prefer to do it. Parents can assist their kids in setting & following a study schedule.  Check the completed homework and be ready to answer their queries. Always praise the good work and encourage them to keep improving. Appreciation keeps them motivated and makes them eager to perform even better. Set Up Homework Friendly Area Minimize The Distractions Ensure that the distractions, such as television, loud music, mobile phones & any other means are minimum. Parents should make sure that there is a peaceful environment for the kid to study. It is very essential to set up a well-lit place for kids to do their homework. Make sure that everything that the kid might need is accessible & within their reach. Make Them Solve On Their Own Allow your kids to complete the homework on their own. If they get stuck somewhere, you can always suggest and make them learn where they went wrong. www.killeenisd.org Killeen Independent School District 200 N.
