Your thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to You in order. If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered. READ: PSALMS 98:1 1 Sing to the LORD a new song! For He has done marvelous things. His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.

READ: AMOS 1:10 10 I will send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, Which shall devour its palaces. READ: AMOS 1:12 12 I will send a fire upon Teman, Which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.

WHAT DID EZEKIEL SAY THE LORD WOULD DO TO TYRE? READ: EZEKIEL 28:7 7 Behold, I will bring strangers against you, The most terrible of the nations. They shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, And defile your splendor.

THE STRONG PEOPLE? WHO WILL FEAR THE LORD? THE TERIBLE NATIONS? WHAT DID THE PSALMIST SAY WOULD GLORIFY THE LORD? READ: PSALMS 22:23 23 You who fear the LORD, praise Him! All you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him. All you offspring of Israel, fear Him!

And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah.” 3 “Who is among you of all His people? May his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel (He is God), which is in Jerusalem.” 4 “Whoever is left in any place where he dwells, let the men of his place help him with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, Besides the freewill offerings for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.”

READ: 2 SAMUEL 22:2-3 2 David said: “The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; “ 3 “The God of my strength, in whom I will trust: My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence.”

READ: PSALMS 27:1 1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? READ: PSALMS 28:8 8 The LORD is their strength. He is the saving refuge of His anointed.

The LORD will bless His people with peace. READ: PSALMS 31:2 2 Bow down Your ear to me, Deliver me speedily. Be my rock of refuge, A fortress of defense to save me.

READ: PSALMS 46:7 7 The LORD of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge.

In the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, Until these calamities have passed by. READ: PSALMS 59:16 16 I will sing of Your power. Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble.

GENTILES? WHAT WILL THE LORD DO TO THEM? READ: PSALMS 9:12 12 When He avenges blood, He remembers them. He does not forget the cry of the humble. READ: PSALMS 18:44-45 44 As soon as they hear of me they obey me. The foreigners submit to me. 45 The foreigners fade away And come frightened from their hideouts.

GENTILES? WHAT WILL THE LORD DO TO THEM? READ: PSALMS 54:5 5 He will repay my enemies for their evil. Cut them off in Your truth. READ: PSALMS 86:14 4 O God, the proud have risen against me. A mob of violent men have sought my life And have not set You before them.

GENTILES? WHAT WILL THE LORD DO TO THEM? READ: JEREMIAH 51:55 55 The LORD is plundering Babylon and silencing her loud voice, Though her waves roar like great waters and the noise of their voice is uttered, READ: JOEL 3:16 16 The LORD will roar from Zion and utter His voice from Jerusalem. The heavens and earth will shake; But the LORD will be a shelter for His people And the strength of the children of Israel.

READ: ISAIAH 25:6-8 6 And in this mountain The LORD of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees. 7 And He will destroy on this mountain The surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations. 8 He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken.

WHERE WAS THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD? WHAT FEAST WILL THE LORD PREPARE? WHERE WILL THIS FEAST TAKE PLACE? WHAT VEIL COVERED ALL NATIONS? WHY WILL THE LORD SWALLOW UP DEATH? WHAT WAS THE REBUKE OF HIS PEOPLE?

QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 25:6-8 6 And in this mountain The LORD of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees. WHERE WAS THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD? JERUSALEM? ZION? CITY OF GOD? READ: PSALMS 87:1-3 1 His foundation is in the holy mountains. 2 The LORD loves the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob. 3 Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God!

QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 25:6-8 6 And in this mountain The LORD of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees. WHERE WAS THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD? JERUSALEM? ZION? CITY OF GOD? READ: HEBREWS 12:22-24 22 You have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 To Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 25:6-8 6 And in this mountain The LORD of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees. WHERE WILL THIS FEAST TAKE PLACE? IN THE KINGDOM OF THE LORD? WHAT DID DANIEL PROPHESY ABOUT THIS KINGDOM? READ: DANIEL 2:44 44 In the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. The kingdom shall not be left to other people. It shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms. And It shall stand forever.

  28. QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 25:6-8 WHERE WILL THIS FEAST TAKE PLACE? IN THE KINGDOM OF THE LORD? WHAT DID DANIEL PROPHESY ABOUT THIS KINGDOM? READ: DANIEL 7:13-14 13 I was watching in the night visions, Behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days And they brought Him near before Him. 14 To Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away. And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed. READ: DANIEL 7:27 27 The kingdom and dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.

WHAT FEAST WILL THE LORD PREPARE? WHERE WILL THIS FEAST TAKE PLACE? IN THE KINGDOM OF THE LORD? WHAT DID THE PSALMIST SAY ABOUT THIS KINGDOM? READ: PSALMS 22:26-28 26 The poor shall eat and be satisfied. Those who seek Him will praise the LORD. Let your heart live forever! 27 All the ends of the world Shall remember and turn to the LORD And all the families of the nations Shall worship before You. 28 For the kingdom is the LORD‘S. He rules over the nations.

WHAT FEAST WILL THE LORD PREPARE? WHERE WILL THIS FEAST TAKE PLACE? IN THE KINGDOM OF THE LORD? WHERE WILL THIS FEAST TAKE PLACE? READ: MATTHEW 8:11 11 I say to you that many will come from east and west and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

  31. WHAT FEAST WILL THE LORD PREPARE? READ: LUKE 22:14-20 14 When the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him. 15 He said to them, “With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; 16 “I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” 17 Then He took the cup and gave thanks and said, Take this and divide it among yourselves; 18 For I say to you, “I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” 19 He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, Saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.” MATTHEW 26:26-29 MARK 14:22-25 1 CORINTHIANS 11:23-26

QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 25:6-8 6 And in this mountain The LORD of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees. WHAT FEAST DID THE LORD INSTITUTE? WHERE WILL THIS FEAST TAKE PLACE? IN THE KINGDOM OF THE LORD? READ: MATTHEW 26:29 29 I say to you, “I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom.” READ: LUKE 22:29-30 29 I bestow upon you a kingdomJust as My Father bestowed one upon Me, 30 That you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 25:6-8 7 And He will destroy on this mountainThe surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations. 8 He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken. WHAT COVERED ALL NATIONS? HOW WAS THIS VIEL REMOVED? WHY DID DAVID AND THE PEOPLE COVER THEIR HEADS? READ: 2 SAMUEL 15:30 30 David went up by the Ascent of the Mount of Olives and wept as he went up. He had his head covered and went barefoot. And all the people who were with him covered their heads and went up, weeping as they went up.

  34. QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 25:6-8 WHY DID MOSES PUT A VEIL OVER HIS FACE? WHAT VEIL DID CHRIST REMOVE? READ: 2 CORINTHIANS 3:12-18 12 Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech 13 Unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. 14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains un-lifted in the reading of the Old Testament, Because the veil is taken away in Christ. 15 Even today, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. 16 Nevertheless When one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 The Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

WHY WERE THE GENTILES WALKING IN DARKNESS? READ: EPHESIANS 4:17-19 17 This I say and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, 18 Having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; 19 Who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

  36. QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 25:6-8 WHAT HAPPENED TO ISRAEL? HOW DID THIS BRING SALVATION TO THE GENTILES? READ: ROMANS 11:7-12 7 What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded. 8 Just as it is written: God has given them a spirit of stupor, Eyes that they should not see And ears that they should not hear, To this very day. 9 And David says: “Let their table become a snare and a trap, A stumbling block and a recompense to them.” 10 “Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see, And bow down their back always.” 11 I say then, “have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles.” 12 “If their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!”

QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 25:6-8 8 He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken. WHAT DID THE PSALMIST SAY CONCERNING THIS? READ: PSALMS 102:16-22 16 The LORD shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory. 17 He shall regard the prayer of the destitute and shall not despise their prayer. 18 This will be written for the generation to come, that a people yet to be created may praise the LORD. 19 For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary; From heaven the LORD viewed the earth, 20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner, to release those appointed to death, 21 To declare the name of the LORD in Zion and His praise in Jerusalem, 22 When the peoples are gathered together and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

WHY WILL THE LORD SWALLOW UP DEATH? WHAT HAPPENED IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN? READ: GENESIS 2:16-17 16 The LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;” 17 “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

WHY WILL THE LORD SWALLOW UP DEATH? WHAT HAPPENED IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN? READ: GENESIS 3:22-24 22 The LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. O Hades, where is your victory? 56 The sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
