Discover potential career paths using the CFNC Bridges Planning Tools. Start by logging onto www.CFNC.org, navigating to the Career Center, and accessing the Choices Explorer. Use the Cluster Finder to identify career clusters that match your interests, activities, and school subjects. Once you've found your clusters, add them to your portfolio and explore specific careers within each cluster. Focus on three careers that intrigue you, read about their responsibilities, and summarize your findings for a deeper understanding of each opportunity.

  2. Career Center –Blue Tab • Click on blue tab “Career Center” • Click on “CFNC Bridges Planning Tools” • Click on “Choices Explorer” • Click on the “Work Tab” • Click on “Finding Matching Career Clusters”

  3. Cluster Finder • Start—Cluster Finder • Follow directions and answer questions: • Activities You Like • Personal Qualities • School Subjects • Matched to a Career Cluster

  4. Career Clusters--Portfolio • Click on tab at top right & add career clusters to your portfolio • Write down names of matched career clusters • View careers under each cluster

  5. Careers • Choose (3) careers that interest you • Click on each career one at a time • Read about each career by clicking on “Glance What They Do” • Write a brief summary on your paper for each of the (3) careers
