  4. Becoming a Floral Designer • Horticulture and Floriculture clubs at A&M • Changed major to horticulture • Took many floral design classes and loved them • Started out doing friend’s wedding flowers • Started own small business

  5. Floral Designer Qualifications • Quality and care of flowers • Connecting with the client • Understand the client’s vision • Have a high level of creativity • Experience in the field • Time and money management

  6. Typical Day • Had a full time job • Weekends and evenings • Busiest in the summer and in December
