Students graduating from Newnan High School go to Ivy League colleges, 4 year universities such as UGA, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Georgia Southern University, UWG, and 2 year colleges such as West Georgia Tech. Some go straight into one of the branches of the US military or into the workforce with certificates in hand. Many will choose to start off at one college or university and complete a degree or certification there, or transfer on to another school for further coursework.

  19. Many NHS students choose to take a combination of AP courses, Dual Enrollment courses, CEC courses and Georgia Virtual courses. You will want to talk to your advisor, your peers, your teachers, your parents, and your guidance counselor to determine the best courses for you to take to help you on your individual graduation plan.

  20. Each student is unique and each student has his or her own path to blaze. Depending on the college and career pathway you choose, there will be requirements, prerequisite courses, and options you will want to learn about before making your schedule decisions for 2014-2015. Let us help you find your path!
