  3. Activity Reporting • No changes to activity reporting systems, processes or templates are expected. • During the period of 11/1/09-2/1/10, National will be verifying that all site information is correct (e.g., DCs assigned, LCs assigned, etc.). I will be notified of any exceptions.

  4. Activity Reporting • The first activity reporting period for the 2010 tax season will open on 2/1/10 and close on 2/28/10. • The second activity reporting period will open on 3/1/10 and close on 3/31/10. • The third activity reporting period will open on 4/1/10 and close on 4/30/10. • The fourth activity reporting period will open on 5/1/10.

  5. Activity Reporting • Please keep in mind that there is a 5 day grace period post the close of each activity period to add additional data

  6. What is New or changed • Volunteer Recruitment System • Manuals, Guides, Digests • Confirmation Letters

  7. Printed copies of the Policy Manual have been mailed to all DC positions. • Printed copies of the Local Coordinator Digest and Counselor Digest will be mailed [in November] to all leaders except Instructor, TC and CC positions. • Printed copies of Counselor Digests can be ordered through Fulfillment/Newington for distribution to Counselors. • All other manuals, guides, and digests (including the Operational Guidelines and other specialty publications) are only available electronically and can accessed on the extranet.

  8. Confirmation Letters • This year, your National Office will not produce and mail confirmation letters and address labels to our volunteer leaders. • The task and process for confirmations of assignment and acknowledgments/thanks will be revisited next year.
