  7. Food Web Several connected food chains in an ecosystem.

  8. Producer An organism that makes its own food.

  9. Population All the living things in an ecosystem.

  10. Survive The ability to remain alive.

  11. Consumer A consumer is a living thing that eats other living things to survive. It cannot make its own food.

  12. Prey An animal that is hunted, caught, and eaten by another animal.
