  3. Preparations • Choose classes that will benefit your skills • Pay attention when you come to visit • Familiarize with materials your teacher gives you and NMS website • Get organized

  4. First Day • You will have help • Listen to directions • Only 7th graders • Ask questions • Learn the NMS layout • Try to memorize schedule

  5. Average Morning • Move quickly • Get off the bus • Go to your locker • Unpack and grab your first period class binders • Get to homeroom before the bell rings

  6. RA • NOT FOR HOMEWORK • Good time to study • Figure out your schedule • Clubs and organizations • Get involved with something

  7. Lockers • Make sure you keep it organized • Remember your combo • Keep a schedule inside • Keep extra pens/pencils • DO NOT RIG

  12. FAQ • When will you find out your team? The middle of August. • Will you get lost?Probably not, the school is basically a big cube. • Is it hard to switch classes? Not really as long as you know your schedule, which really isn’t hard. • Does the bus come really early and, do you have to get up early? YES!
