  4. KEY CLUB WEEK • Monday (11/4): Show your K in every way • Tuesday (11/5): Bring a friend to Key Club AND Connect the K’s • Wednesday (11/6): Kudos to Key Players • Thursday (11/7): Bringing OUR K to Lucile Packard • Friday (11/8): OUR WAY

Monday • Show your K in every way • What does that mean?!? • Wear Key Club shirts and BEE PROUD! • MEET @ Senior Stage during lunch to do the CHEER! • Get a Key stamped on your face/body from Vivian. • Make a name tag like this: • PUT IT on your backpack, shirt, shoes, FOREHEAD! • DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT KEY CLUB • Ask me about Key Club

  6. Tuesday • Bring a friend to Key Club AND Connect the K’s • Bring a FRIEND (person who isn’t in Key Club) to Tuesday’s meeting!! • Guest speakers from Circle K (Cheers are CRAZY GOOD!!)

  7. Wednesday • Kudos to Key Players • Personally thank all the Key Club supporters you know—teachers, advisors and other Key players. • Write thank-you notes to them • Say “Thank you” in person • Give them a little gift ( counts)

  8. Thursday Bringing Our K to Lucile Packard! • Brighten a child’s day with a handmade card! • Cards will be given to the children at • the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital! • PLEASE INCLUDE: • Sweet & Encouraging Message • “Independence Key Club” • Most importantly, BEE CREATIVE! • Last day to turn in your card is next Thursday!

  10. Buy a ticket for $5 from any Key Club OR Interact Officer/Board Member • Each ticket comes with food, drink, and A FREE PHOTO • Key Club proceeds goes to Pediatric Trauma Prevention (PTP)

  11. HALLOWEEN GRAMS ($2) • Buy it from any of the Key Club board members or officers. • Passed out during 3rd, 4th, or 5th period. • LAST DAY TO BUY: TODAY!!

  12. Recycling You DON’T NEED to sign up, JUST SHOW UP! When: Every Tuesday! Time: Only during 7th period Where: School’s Recycling Center (Across from M-54) What: Collecting recyclables in classrooms and sorting the material at the Recycling Center.

Purple Stride Silicon Valley (Eric) • When: November 2nd (Saturday) • Time: 8AM-12PM • Where: Discovery Meadow (W San Carlos Street & Woz Way, San Jose, CA 95110) • What: Race Route • http://purplestride.kintera.org/siliconvalley/ihskeyclub and click join team! You'll get an email, linking you to the volunteer job page. Pick Race Route. After you submit, I would add "IHS Key Club" in "My comments." • If you have any questions, contact nguyenheric@gmail.com. • Also, if you do sign up, please message me to let me know so that I can sign you in on the day of the event and give you hours!

Election Night (Vivian) • When: November 5th (Tuesday) • Time: 7PM- 11PM • Where: 1555 Berger Dr. San Jose, CA 95112 • What: Carrying and transporting voting boxes to designated areas and trucks. • $50 per person --- money goes to the club!! • YOU HAVE TO BE 16 AND OLDER!! • If you have any questions, contact Vivian Wong at vwong13@gmail.com

Marching Band & Color Guard Invitational (Eric & Ashna) • When: November 9th (Saturday) • Time: Shift 1: 11AM-2PM • 2: 1:30PM- 5PM • 3: 4:30PM-8PM • 4: 7:30PM-11PM • Where: Track • What: Set up, serve food, usher, wristbands, clean up. • If you have any questions, contact Eric Nguyen at nguyenheric@gmail.com OR Ashna Mangla at ashna.mangla@gmail.com

School-Wide Litter Pick-Up (Vanessa) • When: November 23rd (Saturday) • Time: 12PM- 3:30PM • Where: AT SCHOOL on Senior Stage • What: This school-wide litter pick-up is going to be a collaboration with Interact, Leo, CSF, and UNICEF! WOW. This would be a great opportunity to beautify our school with all your friends from different clubs! It is an easy way to gain hours, bond with other clubs, AND help make our school look as clean as ever! Gloves and bags will be provided! • UNLIMITED VOLUNTEERS!! • If you’re interested, please contact Vanessa Le at levanessa1998@gmail.com
