  6. ITS SAFE AND EFFECTIVE Its important to receive treatment from a qualified acupuncturist who has undertaken further specialist training in obstetrics. They will be familiar with the contra-indications of certain acu-points, and be able to recognise warning features for referral to midwives and GP’s.
