  3. 1) Our strength is recharged by waiting on God- Is 40:28-31 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

  4. 1) Our strength is recharged by waiting on God- Is 40:28-31 29 He gives power to the weak, & to those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint & be weary, & the young men shall utterly fall,

  5. 1) Our strength is recharged by waiting on God- Is 40:28-31 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run & not be weary, They shall walk & not faint.

  6. "wait"-To bind together by twisting, also to look ahead expectantly

  7. When we wait on God, we tie our destiny to Him, we look for Him to bring us new strength, wisdom, courage & power.

  8. Jeremiah 17 5 Thus says the Lord: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man & makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord.

  9. Jeremiah 17 6 For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, & shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited.

  10. Jeremiah 17 7 "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, & whose hope is the Lord.

  11. Jeremiah 17 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, & will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, & will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

  12. Am I waiting on God to be strong or am I tired from doing life on my own?

  13. 2) Our strength is recharged by knowing God's benefits Ps 103:2-5 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,

  14. 2) Our strength is recharged by knowing God's benefits Ps 103:2-5 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

  15. 2) Our strength is recharged by knowing God's benefits Ps 103:2-5 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

  16. As we remind ourselves of all that God does & can do, it energizes our belief in what can be & strengthens our heart for the future.

  17. Eph 3 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

  18. Eph 3 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith…
