Comparative Analysis of Global Warming Awareness Among College Students in China and the U.S.

This research examines the differences in global warming awareness, perceptions, and concerns among college students in China and the United States. A survey was conducted with 1,602 students from various universities. Findings indicate that approximately 90% of respondents in both countries believe global warming is occurring; however, Chinese students express a greater conviction in human causation and actively engage in mitigating actions. The study further explores variations in beliefs among conservative and liberal U.S. students, revealing significant ideological divides.
