Background • National Focal Point(NFP) for The Library Research Programme in EU’s 3rd and 4th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development • The challenge: Expanding the network to archives and museums
Archives, Libraries and Museums in Norway: A fragmented reality • No long history of cooperation • Organised under different ministries • Organised under different governmental institutions
How is contact maintained and information disseminated? • National CULTIVATE list and other national e-lists • Meetings • National Information Days/seminars • Bimonthly articles in RBTsjournal ”Synopsis” • National web site
Guiding proposers • Information on open calls always available on RBTs web and distributed on the national CULTIVATE list • Links to information material and central tools on CORDIS, Hyperion etc from RBTs web • Individual support by e-mail, phone and meetings
Future national developments • Towards a more unified approach - Central political issue - Increased cooperation • The development is likely to further the national network and the work of the CULTIVATE national node
