  2. COORDENADAS GEOGRÁFICAS São um conjunto de linhas imaginárias traçadas sobre o globo que permitem localizar qualquer ponto na superfície terrestre. As coordenadas constituem a melhor forma de localização geográfica.

  3. PARALELOS Cada paralelo tem seu valor dado em graus. Os graus de cada paralelo denominam-se LATITUDE. Portanto, falamos, por exemplo, que a linha do Equador possui 0º de latitude. Veja os exemplos a seguir: São linhas paralelas à linha do Equador que cortam o globo de leste à oeste. Vai de 0º à 90º sul e norte.

  5. MERIDIANO Cada meridiano tem seu valor dado em graus. Os graus de cada meridiano denominam-se LONGITUDE. Portanto, falamos, por exemplo, que o meridiano de Greenwich possui 0º de longitude. Veja os exemplos a seguir: São semicírculos que cortam o globo de norte à sul. Vai de 0º à 180º leste e oeste.
