Die Magnesium-Versuchsreihe. Ich benötige 5cm Magnesiumband. Wie geht‘s weiter?. Wir wollen das Magnesiumband anzünden. Aber es will nicht brennen. n ehmen wir m ehr Feuerzeuge!. Es brennt!. Magnesium reagiert mit Sauerstoff zu Magnesiumoxid.

  4. Wir wollen das Magnesiumband anzünden

  5. Aber es will nicht brennen

  6. nehmen wir mehr Feuerzeuge!

  7. Es brennt! Magnesium reagiert mit Sauerstoff zu Magnesiumoxid. Brenntemperatur bis zu 3000°C – daher der Porzellanbecher!

  8. Nun brauchen wir 10ml Wasser

  9. …und schütten das Magnesiumoxid- Pulver ins Wasser

  10. Das Mg-Pulver reagiert mit dem Wasser Zu Magnesiumlauge.

  11. Mit Phenolphtalein können wir nachweisen, dass es sich tatsächlich um eine Lauge handelt.
