  2. The best and most efficient way to deal or manage the condition is understanding what type of diabetes it is before you start seeking treatment of management method. This way, you will be aware of what you are facing and how to prevent its damage to your body. The next step would be to know if your treatment is successful and what to do if it’s not. There is no cure for diabetes. In this text, we will get to learn about diabetes: what is it, how to prevent it, and how to treat or manage it.

  3. In general, diabetes is a disease that affects how the body uses glucose, which is the primary sugar in blood. Type 1 diabetes is a disease that is autoimmune. It changes the body’s production of insulin by stopping the pancreas. Insulin is the hormone that helps a person to get energy from the food he/she eats. Type 1 diabetes, commonly known as T1D, attacks the immune system and destroys the beta cells from the pancreas; these cells are the ones that are used in producing insulin in the body.

  4. Although it’s yet to be verified what exactly may cause Type 1 diabetes, scientists have found that both genetic and environmental factors can lead to this disease. It is scientifically proved that Type 1 diabetes affects a particular group of people with a specific generic element. Its symptoms include: • -Weight loss • -Extreme fatigue • -Blurred vision • -Excessive hunger and urination.

  5. When a virus invades the body, the immune system automatically starts to produce antibodies with the aim of fighting the illness. In this case, if the virus that has invaded the body has the same antigens as those of beta cell, then the body starts fighting against its own and in return destroys the cells that produce insulin in the body, thus leading to type 1 diabetes. There are also some other unconfirmed studies that associate this disease with consumption of cow milk as an infant. It is believed that the protein in the milk has similarity with glycodelin, which is the protein that controls the production of T cells. When the body fights cow proteins, it also fights glycodelin, which leads to overproduction of the T cells, therefore, fighting beta cells.

  6. While this type of diabetes does not have a cure, there are things you can do to regulate your blood sugars. One of these is planning your diet. If you start planning your daily diet, chances are you may prevent yourself from the disease or if it’s already there you may stop yourself from its deadly attacks. With a proper diet, you will also learn how to manage your blood sugar. The only possible prevention is embracing a healthy lifestyle. Other treatment methods include: -Insulin replacement therapy -Workouts -Blood sugar monitoring

  7. Conclusion: Ensure to have a regular blood sugar tests and avoid massive consumption of sugar in your diet. This way you may delay the onset of the disease or its damage. It’s also good to engage in regular exercise to ensure you utilize the glucose in the system efficiently.
